The box is a genuine Land Rover accessory that was originally developed for use with Classic Defender (and other older models). We have designed some custom brackets that allow you to fit the box to the New Defender L663(110). The brackets are manufactured in the UK and have been powder coated in textured black. The box and brackets fit into the void underneath the lift-up boot floor and utilise existing studs as fixing points. The great thing about this is that the box is out of sight (extra security) and you don't lose any boot space. The box is lockable and can be be used to securely store high risk items and valuables.

The box assembly consists of a base plate and the box itself which is removable - when fitting the box to the Defender you don't need to use the base plate. The box is an all metal construction (heavy gauge steel) and finished in textured black. There is a removable tray inside the box and the box is lined with egg crate foam.

The box is lockable with the supplied keys - to open the box unlock the left-hand lock first and then the right hand lock - the key cannot be removed whilst the right hand lock is in the open position. This is a genuine Land Rover security box, brand new in retail packaging. The brackets are designed by Powerful UK and are not a genuine Land Rover item. The Land Rover Defender L663 110 models (will not fit PHEV or MHEV models). FIT the Land Rover Defender L663 90 model as the boot is smaller. We have not tested these brackets with the 130 model.
