Powerful UK Ltd 4X4 Parts & Accessories. For Land Rover Classic Defender. This listing is for a genuine Land Rover metal gun/security box for the Classic Defender. This is a lockable metal box which can be used to securely store high risk items and valuables.

The box assembly consists of a base plate (which you mount to your vehicle's bodywork) and the box itself which is removable. The box is removable from the base plate via 2 thumbscrews which are accessed from inside of the box (so the box cannot be detached when it is closed and locked). This means you can easily remove the box from the vehicle when needed - there is a carry handle on top of the box. There is a universal fitting kit included - however, Land Rover note that there is no specific fitting kit for the Defender 2007 -16 so you may have to source your own fixings.

Please check the base plate/box dimensions in the photos and check fitting suitability for your particular vehicle before purchasing. The box is an all metal construction (heavy gauge steel) and finished in textured black.

There is a removable tray inside the box and the box is lined with egg crate foam. The box is lockable with the supplied keys - to open the box unlock the left-hand lock first and then the right hand lock - the key cannot be removed whilst the right hand lock is in the open position. This is a genuine Land Rover item, brand new in retail packaging. Land Rover universal fitting kit is supplied but please check dimensions and assess the fitting suitability for your particular vehicle.

Which Vehicles will this fit? This box WILL FIT the Land Rover Classic Defender models (although Land Rover note there is no specific fitting kit for 2007-16 so you may require extra fixings). It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all charges of this nature.
